LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – The bells will be ‘ringing’ in the Holiday season.
On Wednesday morning, the Fox Cities Salvation Army kicked off its 2024 Red Kettle campaign. Beginning the sights and sounds of bell ringers and bells ringing all across the Fox Valley.
Officials told Local 5 that the Red Kettle campaign helps the Salvation Army fund its programs that it holds throughout the year.

“[The programs] include our housing, our food programs, our Christmas assistance, and much more,” began Fox Cities Salvation Army Executive Director Kristal Knudtson. “But without the donations through this Red Kettle and our match days to help with the donations, it’s something that we have to look at for our programs and how we can meet the needs.”
The Red Kettle campaign runs through December 24 and is expected to bring in enough funds to meet 70% of its yearly donation goal.
