An Irish-themed bar opened on Green Bay’s west side Streetwise

GREEN BAY − Looking to boost your luck? Check out this new Irish-themed bar on Green Bay’s west side.

Irish Temper, 240 N. Broadway, Suite B, opened on Dec. 7. The bar shares a kitchen with FiveThumbsUp, a bakery located next door in suite C.

Tony Wiltgen, a co-owner of the bar, said they had a soft opening two weeks ago for family and friends. The bar offers wine, beers, bourbon, other types of whiskeys, and specialty cocktails.

“Our food has done really well,” Wiltgen said. “We have mostly unique offerings.”

He said the pub’s food menu is simple but patrons can select from several options including a Reuben sandwich, a hand pie, Irish stew, or tampered crostinis.

Hours of operation for the bar are from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
