Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is dealing with an elbow injury but is doing everything he can to play in the team’s playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers released their first injury report of the week, and Love was listed as a limited participant in practice.
Love suffered an elbow injury in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Love was staying optimistic when it comes to his chances of playing.
“We’ll see. Yeah. I’m hopeful,” Love said, via The Athletic . Love also said the numbness in his hand disappeared Monday, and he has no issues gripping the football.
The Packers are also keeping a close eye on Love and backup QB Malik Willis who was also limited in practice on Wednesday due to a wrist injury he suffered in the Bears game. “I mean, it doesn’t feel normal, no,” Willis said, per ESPN. “I just did whatever they allowed me to do out there today, and we’ll see how it goes the rest of the week.”
