- Sunny & 30s today
- Windy and mild workweek
- Minor precip chance
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – After a stint of cold temperatures last week, we’re returning to milder conditions through the upcoming workweek. Strong winds will help to pull in unseasonably warm air from the southwest, boosting our temperatures above freezing and into the 40s.
With the milder air, we don’t stand much of a chance to see any accumulating snowfall. There will be some passing systems to our north this week, but southern Wisconsin will stay dry for the most part. Madison is now 15″ behind on snowfall this season and about 20″ behind where we were by this point last season!
What’s Coming Up…
Thanks to a small cold front that passed through yesterday, high temperatures will be slightly cooler today. Winds will be northwesterly this morning, pulling in some cool air to start the day. Winds will shift out of the southwest this afternoon, helping us reach the upper 20s and lower 30s. Skies will be mostly sunny again so despite the breeze it won’t be a bad day to get outside for a walk.
Skies will remain mostly clear tonight, with temperatures staying mild in the upper teens…
