As a result of shifting operations and ending the partnership with American Airlines , more than 500 jobs at Air Wisconsin Airlines are impacted. In total 513 workers are being laid off, however, 294 union employees will be temporarily laid off because they are represented by a union. The clerical, office, fleet and passenger service employees, maintenance and related personnel are represented by the International Association of Machinists, Aerospace Workers.
