What we know:

There will be a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain across southeast Wisconsin depending on where you are. Areas north of the I-94 corridor have the best chance of experiencing minor accumulating snowfall with a glaze of ice. Areas along and south of the I-94 corridor have the best chance of experiencing minor ice accumulations of less than a tenth of an inch of ice.

Ice this minimal will cause slick spots on roads will be likely on roads that are not treated prior to the event. Elevated surfaces such as sidewalks, decks, and cars will need to be watched more for a light icing.

Road impacts will begin Wednesday evening and continue through Thursday morning. The beginning of the event could start with minor lake effect snow during early Wednesday morning for lakeshore areas.

Most of Wednesday morning will remain dry. Wednesday afternoon/early evening, a band of snow showers will move through that could cause minor accumulations and reduced visibility in northern counties.
