A warm front has sliced the WFRV coverage area in half today, with 30s and 40s on the cooler side, with 50s and 60s on the warmer end. This front also brought in a few thunderstorms earlier this morning.
This evening, plan on skies being mostly cloudy to overcast with some light precipitation scooting by the far north along the WI/ UP border. However, as this front starts to interact with the cooler airmass, showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop later this evening and tonight mainly north of HWY 29. Low end severe risk, cant rule out some hail and gusty winds. If the temperatures are cool enough, some freezing rain is possible as well…
