Wisconsin Weather Alert: Ice Storm Warning Begins 7PM Saturday Across Northern Counties

Green Bay, WI – A powerful ice storm is expected to impact northern Wisconsin beginning Saturday evening, prompting the National Weather Service to issue an Ice Storm Warning for the region.

According to the National Weather Service Green Bay office, the warning begins at 7 p.m. Saturday and continues through 2 p.m. Sunday. Areas including Rhinelander, Antigo, Eagle River, and Laona are forecast to receive more than 0.5 inches of ice accumulation. The heaviest impacts are expected overnight into early Sunday.
