WLUK – Winter Storm Frannie will lead to icy conditions over most areas north of Green Bay this evening through Sunday.
Today we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms at times in the afternoon. Freezing rain will develop later in the afternoon over the northern half of the area and continue into Sunday.
Dangerous road conditions and power outages are likely due to ice accumulations, which could exceed 0.5″ of ice.
Travel may be nearly impossible as you head north of Highway 29 starting Saturday evening and lasting through Sunday.
There is some icing possible along a line from Waupaca to New London to Green Bay, but south of that line the precipitation looks to be almost all rain until Sunday night…
