Kaukauna softball eager to bounce back from loss in state semifinals

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY) – Kaukauna’s softball team was five wins away from setting the record for the longest winning streak ever in the nation. After a shocking 5-3 loss to Milton in last year’s state semifinals, the Ghosts are ready to get their next winning streak underway.

After winning 108 straight games, the loss to Milton was the first at the varsity level for any player returning on this year’s team.

“I kind of learned that you can’t take anything easy,” senior infielder Jozy Ebben said. “You can’t expect to go in there and win. You always got to come ready to go and always play as hard as you can.”…
