Man pleads not guilty in father’s shooting, cites mental disease defense

APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Gregory Juedes pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect Wednesday to charges he shot his father 15 times, killing him.

Juedes, 46, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide for the Nov. 24 death of Daniel Juedes Sr., 74, at a home on S. Sanders Street. He’s also charged with attempted to flee an officer, and resisting, after allegedly leaving the scene and being arrested in Kaukauna.

No trial date was set. Juedes returns to court June 4…
