UNSETTLED THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS

Our next weathermaker arrives Wednesday. An area of low pressure tracking through the lower Great Lakes will bring us a chance of spotty showers. While a few wet snowflakes could fly along the Upper Michigan border, most of the wet weather will be tracking through the southern half of Wisconsin. Additional light showers will be possible through Thursday.

Cloud cover from this disturbance will nearly halt a warming trend this week. Midweek high temperatures will only reach the middle 40s. However, as high pressure aloft brings us more sunshine later this week, our high temperatures will get a boost. Look for highs to rise into the 50s on Friday, and might reach 60 degrees at some point this weekend.

As a reminder, we’re in the middle of Wisconsin Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week. This is a good time to plan ahead for the upcoming severe weather season. Make sure you have a disaster kit put together in the event of severe weather. Plan on practicing your severe weather safety plans with both your co-workers and your family when Wisconsin conducts two statewide test tornado drills on Thursday… You can always find helpful storm safety information at: wbay.com/sirens…
