GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has announced that the northbound I-41 on-ramp from WIS 15/County OO/Northland Avenue will be closed starting Wednesday, April 16.
The closure is part of a project to reconstruct the WIS 15 interchange into a diverging diamond interchange. This upgrade aims to accommodate higher traffic volumes and improve safety. The project will also include bike and pedestrian accommodations, as well as crash investigation sites.

This work is part of a larger effort to reconstruct and expand 23 miles of I-41, converting the highway from four lanes to six lanes between WIS 96 in Appleton and County F in De Pere.
Traffic impacts:
- The NB I-41 on-ramp from WIS 15/County OO/Northland Avenue will be closed from the night of April 16 until fall 2025.
- The NB I-41 off-ramp to WIS 15/County OO/Northland Avenue is scheduled to close Monday, May 19, until fall 2025.
