GREEN BAY (WLUK) — As spring temperatures rise in Northeast Wisconsin, the return of ticks and mosquitoes is imminent.
That’s according to Michael Draney, a professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
“Ticks oftentimes will start coming whenever the weather gets warm,” Draney said. “Like mosquitoes and most other animals, they really do not want to get frozen, so they tend to wait until around the average date of our last frost.”…
