Green Bay Finance Committee approves funds to repair Joannes Aquatic Center slides

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Some waterslides at Joannes Aquatic Center in Green Bay may not be ready to use by the time it opens in June. The slides need more than $50,000 in repairs to their steel supports to be deemed safe for use.

The city’s finance committee unanimously approved those funds Tuesday night.

The proposal now moves to the city council, which meets next Tuesday…
