QUIET WEEK AHEAD, SMALL RAIN CHANCE MONDAY

Look for fair skies tonight with chilly lows mainly in the 30s. We should have a fair amount of sunshine on Sunday. Highs in the 60s are expected inland with cooler 50s near Lake Michigan.

A cutoff low pressure system in the mid levels of the atmosphere will push more clouds back into our area on Monday. A few showers are also possible, especially from the Fox Valley to the southeast. Significant rainfall is not anticipated. It will be cooler again with many of us staying in the 50s.

The rest of the work week is shaping up to be pretty good. Temperatures should zoom into the 70s away from Lake Michigan on Tuesday, but we’ll fall back into the 50s and 60s Wednesday & Thursday on the backside of a cold front that will move through. I do not expect any rain with the front as it passes…
