Green Bay Common Council approves housing project despite opposition

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Common Council unanimously approved a new housing development during its meeting Tuesday night.

More than 100 residents in northeastern Green Bay had previously signed a petition opposing the project and had proposed a compromise that excluded apartments.

Despite the opposition, the council voted in favor of moving the development forward.
