Another domino in a series of Green Bay School District land trades fell mid-draft week, with no money expected to be exchanged.
The school district is trading two smaller parcels, 10.5 acres and 12.1 acres, for a 22.65-acre portion of Shaha Memorial Park, on the far east side of the city. It’s about the same size as Preble’s property, and it will provide the district with a single site for any future facilities.
Right now, the district doesn’t have specific plans for that new property, district communications director Lori Blakeslee said. It’s set aside in case Green Bay needs a school on the far east side in the future…
