GREEN BAY, Wis. — Mother’s Day is celebrated every second Sunday in May. Many businesses did their part to make moms feel special.
Brenda Weddle became a mother over 20 years ago. She said it wasn’t easy, after going through years of miscarriages and infertility struggles.
“It’s extra special. My journey wasn’t easy to become a mom, so I get a little emotional,” said Weddle. “It didn’t come easy. It took many, many years to become a mom. So, I just feel very blessed. I’m grateful for every day that I have the title ‘mom.’ It’s the best title I have.”
For the mother of four, which includes two stepchildren, it was the first time she and her son decided to attend the Mother’s Day brunch in Green Bay. Weddle said every year, her family tries to come up with unique ways to celebrate Mother’s Day so that she doesn’t have to cook…
