One moment you feel good, the next you are extremely sick. The cancer journey is like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. It’s like no other illness. Cancer impacts everything. I’ll spare you the worst details, but I can tell you the illness and pain can be surreal. Bone pain can be unbearable. One day my vision was impaired and one day even my teeth hurt.
I’ve given birth to two children so I understand illness and pain, but what I can’t describe is cancer is different. My tumor is aggressive, so my chemotherapy is aggressive, and that’s a whole new level of pain and suffering. I realize I am lucky to have chemotherapy and the shot at living, but it’s not easy and it’s not fun.
