APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Appleton Police Department says a tree is down in the roadway on Richmond Street, causing a temporary closure.
The tree is blocking the roadway between Wisconsin Avenue and Packard Street.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and seek alternative routes. The tree was likely knocked down by severe weather moving through northeast Wisconsin.
