If you’re traveling across the State this week, the Wisconsin State Patrol wants you to know that there may be eyes on you from the skies. Troopers will be taking to the air to watch for traffic violations in four counties this week.
I-43 in Walworth County will be monitored today; on Thursday both I-43 in Brown County and I-94 in Eau Claire County will get the scrutiny; and on Friday the State Patrol will be flying above US Highway 2/53 in Douglas County.
The Patrol said that they’re primarily interested in public safety, and that includes enforcing traffic laws to help make sure drivers reach their destinations safely. The most watched-for violations will be speeding and aggressive driving. If those are seen from the air, troopers on the ground will be sent to initiate a traffic stop…
