Kaukauna Fire Department unveils brand new & locally built ladder truck

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Kaukauna’s Fire Department is witnessing something that may only happen once in a career for some firefighters.

A new 1.6 million ladder truck is joining the Kaukauna Fire Department’s fleet, which Fire Chief Jake Carrel called one of a kind.

“This particular ladder truck is fully functional as a ladder and an engine,” Chief Carrel said. “We have a 100-foot ladder on the top fully capable of performing firefighter efforts.”
