The newest addition to downtown Green Bay’s skyline continues to rise after 6 months

Downtown Green Bay’s newest mixed-use high-rise already eclipses some of its nearby neighbors just six months after work on the $55 million building started.

Construction crews have framed out part of Nova Green Bay’s fifth floor along Adams and Cherry streets and work continues to progress on schedule, said Joey Wisniewski, a senior development coordinator with New Land Enterprises, the Milwaukee-based project developer. Wisniewski praised the city, the building’s downtown neighbors, building contractors and downtown residents for their patience and support.

“Everything has been moving as planned. We’re about 20% through to completion on the exterior,” Wisniewski said. “There’s still plenty to do, but that first sprouting out of the ground has happened.”
