Green Bay, Wis. – Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon across central and northeast Wisconsin, with damaging wind gusts and hail threatening travel and outdoor plans from 1 to 6 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a broken line of storms is expected to form ahead of a cold front moving through the state. The eastern half of Wisconsin — including Wausau, Rhinelander, and Green Bay — is at highest risk, particularly near the Michigan border, where confidence is greatest for stronger storms.
