Man convicted in fatal Oconto County crash admits to heroin use

OCONTO (WLUK) – Zackery Wimber, who admitted to using heroin shortly before a fatal traffic crash, was convicted Tuesday.

Wimber, 31, pleaded no contest to four counts, including homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle for the Sept. 8 crash. Six other counts were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 12, court records show.
