Pulaski Polka Days returns for 46th year with music, dancing, and Polish traditions

PULASKI, Wis. (WFRV) – Thousands of people are expected to descend upon the village of Pulaski this weekend as Pulaski Polka Days returns for its 46th year.

The four-day celebration runs Thursday through Sunday and draws visitors from around the world to enjoy what organizers call some of the best polka music anywhere.

The festival lineup includes a community night, arts and crafts fair, dance lessons, the Ms. Pulaski Polka Days contest, worship services, a pancake and porkie breakfast, a garden walk, a cash raffle, and the popular Pulaski Polka Days Parade.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, and travels north on St. Augustine Street before heading west on Pulaski Street to the Pulaski Polka Grounds. Candy and other small items will be handed out along the route, but organizers remind participants not to throw anything from floats for safety reasons…
