GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The Greater Green Bay Chamber is busy adapting to changing times, recently unveiling a new logo and brand mission to better reflect its growing role in the community. But its future will be without CEO Laurie Radke, who after 14 at the helm of the chamber, is stepping down at the end of August.
“I believe there’s a season for organizations and a season for leaders and I came in at a season, and with my gifts at that point, had an opportunity to move the chamber forward, and I feel like my season is up,” said Radke during a sit down interview in her office in downtown Green Bay.
Radke became president and CEO in 2011, when Wisconsin was in political turmoil with massive protests at the Capitol in Madison taking place over the legislation known as Act 10—the elimination of collective bargaining for most public employees.
