GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The first confirmed case of West Nile Virus in a person in Wisconsin is a reminder that mosquito bites are more than just bothersome and itchy. Health officials want us all to take steps to prevent mosquito bites and possible disease.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services confirmed on Monday the first West Nile virus activity in the state in 2025.
