GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Great Lakes received a failing grade in a new report analyzing the effects of climate change on the region.
The Environmental Law and Policy Center released its findings earlier this month. It’s an update to the massive study they released in 2019.
According to the center, more than 40 million people rely on the Great Lakes for drinking water, fisheries, recreation, commerce, and industry, and in summary, the report finds climate change is impacting all of those areas… and not in a positive way…
