1. First cases of measles confirmed in Wisconsin this year

DHS said there are nine cases in Oconto County but said the risk to the public is overall low because there’s no known public exposure of the cases. At least one of the cases was confirmed through testing at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. The other eight were confirmed based on exposure and symptoms, DHS said.
