Reader question: I reside near the land on the east side of North Richmond Street that was annexed to the City of Appleton. Some neighbors said the sale of the land to the developer fell through. Do you know if there is any truth to this?
Answer: The broker handling the sale of the Dorn property at 4700 N. Richmond St. is Steve Wieckert of Wieckert Real Estate. He told me that the multistep process to develop the farmland into single-family housing is proceeding on schedule, if not ahead of schedule.
