APPLETON (WLUK) — The suspect in a shooting at a Grand Chute hotel was just released from a Florida prison last month, according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday.
Ondra Toombs, 47, was charged with attempted homicide and other counts for the Aug. 8 shooting. He made an initial court appearance Wednesday, where a $1 million cash bond was set. He returns to court Aug. 21 for a preliminary hearing.
