CALUMET, Mich. (WLUC) – One of the U.P.’s favorite foods had the spotlight Saturday.
Calumet celebrated the 2025 Pasty Fest. People crowded the streets for a car show, medieval duels and, of course, pasties. Volunteer Kelly Ryan says the festival sold over 7,000 pasties last year.
“It’s unique to the area,” Ryan said. “It’s our heritage, right? It’s the Cornish miners; the heritage of the pasty.”…
