DE PERE, Wis. — Collette LaRue recently opened a working art studio called The Art Scene in downtown De Pere.
The studio is just yards away from the redevelopment of a former Shopko.
“You’re bringing more people into the area, and I think that will create more diverse services, more diverse restaurants, grocery options, etc.,” LaRue said. “There will be even better reasons for businesses to relocate down here.”…
