GREEN BAY (WLUK) – School is just about back in session. That means it’s back to early morning breakfasts, and packing school lunches.
Registered Dietitian Stephanie Nelson created a plan to make those meals both fun and nutritious. She encourages families to include children in the process. “Get kids involved,” says Nelson. “It creates memories, life skills, confidence”
STAR WAFFLES
- 1.5c oats
- 2c cottage cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1tsp baking powder
- 2tsp cinnamon
- 1tbsp vanilla
- 2tbsp avocado oil
- Cooking spray
Blend all ingredients (except cooking spray) in blender until smooth. Allow batter to sit for 10-15min to thicken and transfer out of blender for easy dispensing (bottle or bowl). Spray hot…..
