Green Bay woman arrested on opposite side of Wisconsin amidst white-collar crime investigation

VIOLA, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman reportedly from Green Bay was arrested in western Wisconsin as a result of a check forgery investigation.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, on September 2, around 12:30 p.m., 32-year-old Megan Strait was arrested at the sheriff’s office. Strait had reportedly come to the office to get an impounded vehicle from an unrelated incident.

Authorities said Strait is from Green Bay and formerly of rural Viola.
