GREEN BAY, Wis. — Northeast Wisconsin experienced unseasonably cold weather on Thursday, September 4, 2025, with several cities tying record low high temperatures. A repeat is on tap for Friday, September 5, 2025.
For Thursday, Green Bay recorded a high of 61 degrees, matching the previous record set in 2008. Manitowoc also tied its record with a high of 63 degrees, a mark previously reached in 1896, 1918, and 2010. Oshkosh saw a high of 62 degrees, equaling the record from 2008. Antigo broke its record with a high of 55 degrees, surpassing the previous record of 56 degrees set in 1896.
As of now, official data for Friday, September 5, 2025, is still pending. However, current record low high temperatures for that date include 60 degrees in Green Bay from 1981, 61 degrees in Appleton from 1981 and 2010, and 61 degrees in Oshkosh from 1988.
