GREEN BAY, Wis. (WJFW) — A cheese plant is ceasing operations in Green Bay by the end of the year resulting in 240 people losing their jobs.
According to a WARN notice filed with the Department of Workforce Development, Saputo Cheese USA Inc. confirmed the Green Bay-area manufacturing plant will conclude operations by the end of 2025.

On February 2, 2023, Saputo Cheese USA Inc., publicly announced the intended closure of its Green Bay manufacturing plant, to occur by the end of last year. On the day of the initial announcement, all employees at the Green Bay plant were advised that there would be retention and severance pay opportunities…
