USDA Forest Service announced Wisconsin will receive $309,150 to reduce wildfire risks

MILWAUKEE — The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service on Wednesday announced Wisconsin will receive $309,150 to reduce wildfire risks in communities.

The money will fund a project called the “Town of Townsend Mitigation Plan for Optimizing Fuel Breaks in High-Risk Areas.”
