Suspect in Green Bay drug deal murder faces trial; co-defendants await hearings

GREEN BAY (WLUK) – A Nov. 10 trial date was set Friday for Elijah White, one of the suspects in a Berner Street drug deal-related murder.

White, 19, is charged with being party to first-degree intentional homicide and conspiracy to commit armed robbery for his alleged role in the death of Brandon Ramirez on Aug. 7 2024.

Four others are also charged in the case. Three also face counts of being party to first-degree intentional homicide and conspiracy to commit armed robbery:

  • Dion Richardson has a plea hearing Oct. 6
  • Darian Pinchart has a plea hearing Oct. 10
  • Nigel White has a status conference Sept. 29

Also charged is Rosemary Williams, who faces felony murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery counts. She has an indigency hearing Oct. 20 to determine her eligibility for a public defender.

Richardson told police he made a deal to buy a half-pound of marijuana from Ramirez for $430.

“Dion told me everything happened so fast and the gun was on his head and he grabbed it. Dion said again he pointed the gun at him and told him to give me all that, give me that cash… Dion said once they got to Berner he pointed the gun right at him and the girl hoped over and started driving off while he was tussling over the gun. While tussling the gun went off, he hoped out the car, started rolling, hurt his leg and was limping when he went to Darian’s house,” a complaint states…
