SUAMICO (WLUK) — Deer Hunt 2025 is still months away, but the rifle range in Brown County is already open for business.
It’s opening weekend at the Brown County Rifle Range. Program and Natural Resource Manager Jason Petrella says “dialing in” is off to a good start.
“Some people, every year, it’s like a tradition. They come here every year, but definitely it’s starting to pick up the closer we get to November. But right now, with the Youth Hunt coming up in October, we’re seeing a lot of people coming out with kids, getting the kids more comfortable with firearms along with sighing in their scopes and stuff,” said Jason Petrella, Brown County Program and Natural Resource Manager…
