GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Community members around Green Bay gathered for a rally at the CityDeck with a walk to the We Will Still Be Seen: Pop-Up Pride block party on Saturday afternoon.
The event came weeks after the NEW Pride Fest was postponed due to concerns over recent politically charged violence, citing a need for safety and unity during the uncertain times.

Representative Amaad Rivera-Wagner (D-Green Bay) was in attendance and said that the threats, which led to the cancellation of NEW Pride Fest, pushed him and a group of friends to hold this event.
“In this climate, trying to divide us, often through fear and intimidation, we wanted to bring our community together and celebrate each other,” Rep. Rivera-Wagner said. “Despite the threats, we’re going to build a city, state and country where everyone can thrive.”…
