Green Bay’s high on Friday got to 88° which sets a new record for October 3, but also ties the all-time October high temperature record. More records likely fall this afternoon as highs should again get into the upper 80s… the GB record high is 84 degrees from 1967.
Skies will be mostly clear for the day, but wind gusts are going to increase up to 25-30 MPH region wide. Any high-profile vehicle operators or any small watercraft need to exercise caution if you are venturing out on the roads this weekend. Tomorrow’s wind gusts will be slightly higher, at times reaching 30-40 MPH across the region.
A Small Craft Advisory will also go into effect at 4 PM today and last through Monday morning as a result of the high winds and waves. This is along the entire Lake Michigan shoreline. Green Bay shorelines are also under consideration for an advisory later tonight if one is needed…
