MILWAUKEE — Some Wisconsin stores that sell vape products worry they could have to close their businesses after new regulations.
On Sept. 1, a new state law went into effect that requires vape shops to stock only FDA-approved products or face a fine of $1,000 per day. People in favor of the law said it helps to better protect customers, but many vape shop owners said it is causing a big hit to the industry.
