Brown County officials get their flu shot, encouraging community to do the same as respiratory illnesses rise

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Earlier in October, Brown County Health officials said they have seen a rise in respiratory illnesses, and that likely won’t go away as the weather cools off again.

On Tuesday morning at the Neville Public Museum, Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach and Health Officer Anna Nick got their annual flu shot in an event highlighting the importance of vaccinations.

The event included more information on how individual and communal health are significantly improved by simply getting a flu shot.
