The Friends of the Brown County Library and honorary literacy ambassador Bre LaFleur are starting the 37th annual Give-A-Kid-A-Book campaign in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The campaign asks community members, businesses, and organizations to donate new, unwrapped books. These books are for children from infancy through age 18 in families with financial need. The campaign works with the Green Bay Salvation Army Holiday Assistance program to distribute the books in December.
The 2025 campaign begins on October 29 at the Brown County Central Library’s Youth Services Department. The event will include Bre LaFleur and a presentation by Elmore Elementary students.
