With SNAP benefits uncertain, Northeast Wisconsin food pantries see a surge in visitors

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Food pantries across the U.S., including right here in Northeast Wisconsin, are seeing an influx of visitors due, in part, to the uncertainty of the federal food stamp program.

Tuesday is food pantry day at Trinity Lutheran Church in Green Bay. While it usually helps about 30 families a week, the numbers have been creeping up.
