As pause to FoodShare benefits looms, here are the major food pantries across Wisconsin

WISCONSIN — As federal funding for Wisconsin’s FoodShare program is poised to pause Nov. 1 because of the government shutdown, many families may be scrambling to find ways to get food or groceries.

At least 700,00 people in Wisconsin rely on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, which provides money to buy groceries.
