GBAPS: Community feedback needed in search for new superintendent

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Green Bay Area Public Schools Board of Education say they need the community’s feedback as they search for a new superintendent.

According to a release from the school district, members of the community, including GBAPS staff, families, and students, are requested to complete a short survey on the skills, experience, and leadership qualities they feel are needed for the next superintendent to possess.

The Board of Education has also stated that they have engaged the Cooperative Educational Service Agencies 7 (CESA 7) to lead the search for GBAPS’s new superintendent, who will take over for the retiring Vicki Bayer.

In addition to the survey, CESA 7 is hosting several focus groups during which times participants of the focus groups will be asked to share their thoughts on areas where GBAPS can improve and the skills and experiences they believe are important for the next superintendent to have…
